Bhindi Fry Recipe | Fried Ladyfinger


  • Ladyfinger/Bhindi: 1/2 kg
  • Onion: 1 medium
  • Crushed Red Pepper: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: as much required
  • Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Green Chilies: 8 to 10
  • Crushed White Cumin: 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger Garlic Paste: 1 teaspoon


  1. Heat oil in frying pan and fry onions for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Now add garlic and fry for 3 to 4 minutes more.
  3. Then add sliced ladyfinger/bhindi, along green chilies, crushed red pepper, salt and cumin. Mix and cook.
  4. When ladyfinger/bhindi is tender, add lemon juice and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes on low flame.
  5. ladyfinger/bhindi fry is ready. Serve hot and enjoy with naans .
